Night by Elie Wiesel is an outrageous book. It is so in depth with all that it goes through and is very detailed. I enjoyed reading this book. It made me think in a whole new way about all the hard ships that these people had to go through. They were killed and harshly beaten just for being Jewish, it is wrong to do this type of harsh punishment to innocent people, just for having this religion. Reading this book was hard for me because it made me sad and very disturbed because of all the things that were happening to these poor people.
I did enjoy the book in other ways though. The best part would have to be the way that the father and son bond held until death. Elie was there for his father no matter what they were going through. Even when they were separated Elie did all that he could to stay with him, he even lied about his age so they would remain together. Elie watched his father die which is something that is very sad and horrible but he did save him a few times from death also saved him from being left for dead on the train. Elie gave up his meals of bread and soup to his father to try and help him to stay with him. Elie was a fighter through out the whole book. He never gave up on his father.
One of the sad parts is when Elie starts to loose his faith. You would think that going through such hard times they would go to there savior. But instead they turned away and began to wonder why he was putting them trough such a horrible life. All though he did help some of them through it they had already lost their faith.
This book is very rich in power and could possibly change a persons view on life and make them feel lucky that they don’t have to go through these punishments in their life. This is the way I feel about the book Night.

It is a reflection of his physical appearance because he is sick and unhealthy and he looks dead on the outside as well.
3. Why can he never forget the look he saw in the eyes of his reflection? Because it was the look of death and that is one thing a person can’t forget or get off their mind. It was like looking at death in a minor.
4. Describe your thoughts on the book and the events of World War II in a reflection of not-less-than 300 words. Night by Elie Wiesel is an ok book. It has good expiation of the events that go on and is very detailed. It made me think of what a lucky life I have got here today, I could never image my life like that. They were killed and harshly beaten just for being Jewish, it is wrong to do this type of harsh punishment to innocent people, just for having this religion. I really enjoyed reading this book. It really puts our lives in perspective, how we get by with things that the ridiculous things we do. It kind of makes you want to say what if…. I did enjoy the book in other ways though. The best part would have to be the way that the father and son had that moment until death. Elie was there for his father no matter what they were going through. Even when they were separated Elie did what he could to stay with him. They lied about their age so they would remain together. Elie watched his father die which is something that I could never do. The kid had some heart in him I have to give him that he would never give up on he’s father. He saved him from being left for dead on the train and even gave up his food to try to keep his dad alive. You could tell he loved his father with all his heart and it was shown throughout the writing. I know I could never handle the pressure that boy was under, it brought my spirits up a little knowing I don’t have to face the hard times like them. One of the sad parts is when Elie starts to lose his faith. You would think that going through such hard times they would look to the faith to guide the way. But instead they turned away and they though to their selves wondering why he would let something like this to occur. This book is very detailed and could possibly make a tear or two shed from a man’s face. Or change the view on their own lives and how they are fortunate that then don’t have to endure that pain and suffering. Losing someone is hard enough but watching hundreds die is ridiculous. Thank you, thank you very much JD
